Contech produces a variety of yurt shelters, including specialized custom designs.

Basic yurt structures are available in a variety of sizes to serve multiple applications including recreational homes, storage, medical first aid stations, homeless shelters, disaster relief, forest fire command centers, home office structure, and temporary accommodations.

Our line of "Live Smart Yurts" come standard at 12', 16', 20' and 30' diameters. All units employ the latest technologies appropriate to their location and use, including Solar, Wind, Geothermal, LED lighting, in wall plumbing, electrical, power storage and management.  Our use of the CCI proprietary production process increases the R value to R22 ( insulation quality) and personalizes each yurt to individual tastes.

The 12' unit is our version of a virtual office. With so many IT techs/execs working from home this is the perfect work environment. As a semi-permanent structure, local ordinances or building codes are negated. We are diligently working with NGOs/NPOs for disaster relief efforts such as in Haiti. The medium and larger units are specifically designed for the assaults of earthquakes, storms winds (hurricanes, twisters, etc...) that mother nature is increasingly bringing to bear on the planet.  High wind and impact debris testing will begin in August 2010.

Yurts can be rented for temporary needs such as construction offices, trade shows, storage facilities, concerts, art festivals, resorts, sporting events, and charity fund raisers.
